FUCK HOUSE, When Bitsy Goes Weird

Bitsy

Bitsy is an open source game engine that allows people to create little, low resolution worlds where you can walk around, collect things and talk to people. Its intent is very innocent, and it has enjoyed widespread popularity as a storytelling medium.

Take for example, Tony Rawr, the story of a tiger who gets given a skateboard and makes lots of friends. It's a cute little innocent adventure and it may well inspire you to pick up a skateboard.

The open source nature of Bitsy means that people make many mods of it to extend the functionality, such as the 3D Bitsy Engine, or mods that allow music.

It also leads to mods where the colours constantly shift and the screen has a lens distortion applied to give the game an incredibly uncomfortable feel, such as in FUCK HOUSE.

It's a short game, but boy is it memorable.

The player walks to FUCK HOUSE. Inside FUCK HOUSE, there are many contorted bodies to collect, each giving the player some dialogue. The dialogue is always a variation of "SLURP" or "FUCK".

The end of the game is through a set of gates, which will only allow passage when you have 'drunk' enough and fucked enough, and thus, are complete.

You shall be fucked as you have once fucked.

We shall become the FUCK HOUSE.
